Chester es un fácil acceso desde la Milla 1328.8 en la HWY 36. Los automovilistas están acostumbrados a ver y ayudar a los excursionistas durante todo el verano.

En transporte público
Se sabe que Lassen Rural Bus y Plumas Transit dejan a los excursionistas directamente en el albergue cuando se les solicita. La parada principal de autobús de ambas líneas de transporte rural se encuentra en Holiday Market en Main Street, aproximadamente a 1 milla del albergue.
